Community members are invited to a public meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Pride in Barrie, including the upcoming festivities and other matters related to them.
This is an opportunity for Gender and Sexually Diverse (GSD) community members, allies, and organizations and businesses working in the community to ask questions, bring up concerns, and provide input.

The community meeting will be moderated by Heather Hay, who is the President of Fierté Canada Pride and the coordinator of the Elder Abuse Prevention Muskoka. Heather has a background in community work and advocacy and has also served as an ombudsperson at various conferences. She previously served as the chair of Muskoka Pride and worked at the Lake Country Community Legal Clinic as a Community Legal Worker.
