The community BBQ & Family Fun Festival was a great success, but is closed now due to rain. Everyone had a great time and good food.

Approx. 50 people attended today.

WOW! What a great night, so  many amazing people, so many great memories.

What a great time we had at the Unity Market Cafe and Studios!  Thank you to Shane and Caleigh for co-hosting our Simcoe Pride Family BBQ.  Despite the rain, we had a great attendance and show of support, not to mention some really good food.  It was a real pleasure to meet some new friends, grown ups and little ones, and share stories.  Looking forward to events to come!

Tonight at 7:00 PM, community members will be meeting to remember those lost to us as a result of homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, HIV, violence, substance abuse and suicide.
We will also be honoring those in our community impacted by homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. Those who experience bullying, violence and limited health care for LGBT residents; and those living with mental health issues and substance abuse.

Please bring your presence, prayers & voice. We will start at the Spiritcatcher at 7:00 PM, then walk down Lakeshore and up Mulcaster Street to City Hall - where the vigil will be held below the Rainbow Pride Flag around the Fountain.

This is an event to promote awareness, education, inclusivity, safety and relationship develop.

Candles will be provided for all to light the way from The 
Spirit Catcher through the downtown area.
